Itinerary
Day 1: Maras & Moray Half-Day Tour
We begin the trip by picking you up from your hotel to head toward the northwest of Cusco. Our first stop is Moray, an impressive archaeological site with deep circular terraces that the Incas used as agricultural laboratories to test different crops. Then, we will pass through the picturesque town of Maras before reaching the Salt Mines, where you will see more than 3,000 salt pools that have been worked by local families since the time of the Incas. You will be able to learn about the extraction process and take unique photographs of the white contrast of the salt against the red mountains. Finally, we will return to Cusco.
