Itinerary
Day 1: Maras & Moray
We will begin by picking you up from your hotel to explore two of the most photogenic sites in the region. First, we will visit Moray, with its impressive circular terraces that functioned as centers for agricultural experimentation. Then, we will head to the Maras Salt Mines, where you will see thousands of white salt pools that contrast with the mountains. A perfect start to the trip without much physical effort.
Day 2: Sacred Valley
We will dedicate the full day to the Sacred Valley. We will visit Awanacancha to meet the alpacas and llamas, followed by the ruins and the traditional market of Pisac. We will enjoy a local buffet lunch and finish the afternoon exploring the Ollantaytambo fortress. Upon finishing, we will return to the city of Cusco to rest.
Day 3: Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain
We finish with the best alternative to see colorful mountains in a relaxed way. We will travel south to visit Palcoyo, where the hike is short and the terrain is flatter compared to other routes. You will be able to see three colorful mountains, the stone forest, and enjoy incredible views of Mount Ausangate without the crowds of other routes. After lunch, we will return to Cusco around 5:00 p.m.
